This can be for every fixture or for big challenges, finals or special events, drones are not the new novel camera spectators enjoy interacting with and watching.

Drones can be challenging for global sports
Every country is different in terms of the drone regulations and what can or cannot be undertaken by drone, this also includes numerous levels of pilot qualifications needed and operational authorisations or licences. In simple terms it can be confusing for one country, let alone a global touring sport.
Sports principally take place in front of spectators, from just a few hundred through to millions across a site or city centre. With multiple competing drone possibilities, such as television broadcasts, marketing shots, social media influencers and public drones, it is very important to keep your crowds and participants safe.
What we do for sports leagues
In the first instance, we build up your policy and regulations around drone use at your event, which sit within the local and international regulations. If your sport takes place across multiple countries, there is no point your policy approving something in one that cannot be repeated in all as viewers may notice the lack of coverage.
We then support a fully audited 3rd party flight system which enables local operators, such as broadcasters, sponsors, teams or tourism organisations, to request permission to fly. We make sure they all submit the necessary legally required licences, insurance and flight documents which remove your liability should an incident occur.
Enabling drones
Our role is not to restrict drones but to make sure you are in control of what you will approve at your event and ensure it is safe and legal throughout.
We also support upskilling internal broadcast teams to help them build drones into their workflow as well as advising on the latest drone technology to create new shot opportunities.
