Over Crowd FPV Filming

Previously, flying drones over crowds both indoors and outdoors fell foul of regulation as no safe systems of work and mitigations were deemed possible. That was until Crowded Space Drones stepped in.

Through our pioneering work with venues as Alexandra Palace and the O2 Arena in London, we delivered proof of concept for safe over crowd First Person View (FPV) drones (also sometimes called fly through drones) and then turned that into tried and tested operations across multiple venues, live broadcasts, sporting fixtures and concerts worldwide.

We are now also working with international broadcasters and sports leagues to bring live FPV filming to television audiences around the world in multiple jurisdictions on a regular basis.

Safe Flights over Crowds

With our leadership being fully qualified in Crowd Safety Management and Event Safety Management, including qualifications from around the world, we understand the risks involved in each individual crowd more than any other drone operator.

From this, we developed Risk Assessments, Method Statements and Technical Innovations unique to use which demonstrate our operation is incredibly low risk, both in National Aviation Authority and local Health and Safety legislative terms.

We have obtained all the necessary approvals for both indoor and outdoor over crowd FPV drone flights.

Reliable Live Broadcasts

We have invested significantly in being able to get the best possible full HD or 4K broadcast signal (both NTFS or PAL) from our FPV drones with full remote camera control. This enables us to provide stunningly beautiful shots which are stable and match the rest of the broadcast. We interface with all broadcast connections including fibre or SDI.

We can also provide a live stage IMAG iso feed to enable our content to be used live in show.
