Flying drones in venues
The reality is that many countries exclude indoor flights from their drone specifical legislation, leaving a complex tapestry of health and safety, lifting, workplace and computer legislation that needs to be complied with to make a flight fully legal.
Mitigations to stop a drone flight failing outdoors, won’t have taken into consideration a busy mosh pit with beer and other liquids flying about above the crowd or indeed crowd behaviour such as surfing etc. Indeed, many operators don’t take into account of the dark and noisy environment they will be working in and how that can impact safety.
