Aerial Drone Cameras
One of the most legally restricted and complex areas to fly unmanned aircraft is in crowded spaces where there is a crowd assembled. Once a crowd excess 1,000 persons, UK law dictates that you should be no closer than 150 metres from the edge of the crowd. Other countries use relatively similar distances.
Whilst for some functions like Crowd Management or Traffic monitoring 150 metres away from an assembly of persons is practical, when you want promotional photos or video of your event it can be quite restrictive.
We can help you thanks to our close working relationship with the CAA (UK) & FAA (USA) and our background in Crowd Management at stadia, arenas and major events around the world. This allows us to obtain less restrictive permissions for flying.
Our Cable Cam provides a safe and alternative method of capturing incredible overhead shots in crowded or following the action where flying a drone is not legal or safe. Utilising our fully stablised DJI Ronin gimbal with additional gyros for balance, we can achieve smooth, steady and reliable video, absorbing any cable movement.
With full control of camera settings, movement, zoom and focus whilst moving, we output a live 1080 SDI or HDMI with 4K recording on board to ensure the quality of shot is obtained. For live views, we can provide SDI,fibre or wireless infrastructure to get the signal to wherever you need.
Live Streaming / Broadcast
We use the latest in mobile streaming and bonding technology to stream from wherever you are. Whether it’s two or three cameras in a studio, or multiple wireless cameras spanning the world mixing into the one stream, we can cut together a broadcast whatever your requirements.
Live Video Production / Stage Video
No matter if you need a 10+ camera setup with live OB facilities for vision mixing, or one or two cameras for a live stage video view, our team will work magic for you.
We have worked with a range of the leading artists and event types around so we know what it takes to ensure our equipment and team perform flawlessly, every time.
Live Event Control Down Link
Utilising traditional CCTV Cameras can provide only limited, fixed, coverage around an event site. This can cause huge problems for Event Safety when an incident happens in an area without CCTV Camera view.
We can provide a live view from tens to hundreds of miles away from your site, such as for Traffic Management, through to your complete event site. Providing a live 1080 HD view back to Event Control, we communicate with your team constantly to ensure we are proving the best live view possible.

Event Site Mapping
With the majority of event sites based on a CAD drawing which all infrastructure and equipment is placed onto, it is important to ensure that this drawing accurately reflects the space available. We can provide aerial mapping which produces a high resolution map of all areas of the event site. With key known location / control points, this can be inserted behind your CAD drawing.
The benefit of this is the ability to see if your drawing accurately fits into the physical space of the site and has correct placement of natural hazards, such as tress and water courses.
Some fantastic uses by our clients have been a pre-doors arena and campsite surveys to accurately mark out position of traders etc. This allows someone reporting an incident at “trader x” or “tree y” to be identified from their visual surroundings which may not be obvious on a CAD drawing. Another use has been to map the placement and density of tents in a campsite as well as identifying rubbish deposits following conclusion of the event.
Protecting Events from Drones
When your airspace is exposed, no longer are fences, video cameras, and security guards adequate to protect sensitive buildings or personal. Using a suite of electronic sensing technologies we can protect your airspace from airborne threats.
Working with our partners at Drone Defence, we are able to identify all drone activity taking place up to several miles out from the event. This gives total understanding of any current threats posed. Coupled with other options, such as a Temporary Flight Restriction overhead the event, there are a range of counter measures options we can deploy to stop drones from causing a public safety or security hazard.
We also work with the local Police and National Crime Agency to ensure that any person identified is appropriately dealt with to prevent recurrences.
Our track record has shown our systems to work flawlessly when deployed at national events including Music Festivals and City Centre celebrations.
