Job Description
Due to a packed summer of us delivering aerial filming at most major UK events, we are recruiting experienced pilots who can conduct cinematic FPV & Inspire 2 flights to join us from Mid-May to Mid-September 2022.
This is a role in which you will be conducting dynamic flying tracking moving objects or time critical pyrotechnics shots, including flying through event temporary structures.
All recruits will undergo a rigorous flight assessment to verify skills on Inspire 2 & FPV.
As an UAS Operations Gold accredited company holding a Civil Aviation Authority Operational Authorisation to fly 5 metres from uncontrolled persons, we take health and safety very seriously across the business.
You will be working with Camera Operators & Safety Spotters to ensure every flight takes place in a safe environment and interfacing with dynamic emergency services incidents, including major incidents, and other safety control functions as part of your deployments.
This role has great career progression to permanent full time roles with the company.
Essential Experience
- Hold a current NQE Full Recommendation for Multi Copter 0-20kg or a current GVC certificate for Multi Copter
- Have significant flying experience to capture cinematic FPV flights with flights through structures, around objects and tight spaces.
- Have significant flying experience on DJI Inspire 2 within last 2 years, primarily on dynamic promotional flights rather than surveys / inspections or similar etc
- Must hold a full UK driving licence (B category) with no more than 6 points
- Ability to work away from home for periods of time ranging from 1 day to 10 days on semi-regular basis
- Ability to work in all weather conditions and operate in the outdoors for extended periods
- Have a professional attitude and confidence in own ability
- Confident to talk to the clients, stakeholders & members of the public
- Confident in risk assessing and safety management
- A strong team player with leadership qualities
- Ability to manage a small team
- Capable of making decisions in high pressure environments
- Well organised with good time management
- Good literacy and IT Skills including utilising Microsoft Office suite and Apple products / apps
- Full understanding of Videography principles
- Full understanding of Photography principles

This role has a salary of £35,000 pro rata with average of 40 hours per week.
